ANU Flute Day 2020

ANU Flute Day 2020

ANU School of Music presents its 2020 Flute Day - All together, no screens, COVID-safe.

“As evidenced from our final concert, you still have a straight line from the highest level to where you first began…We were driven by the belief that the youngest students also deserve the greatest teaching, to form good habits early and to develop a deep love of the craft.” Organiser Sally Walker, Lecturer at the School in Classical Performance (Woodwind), commenting on the 2019 ANU Flute Day.

Despite the obvious hinderances, we are delighted to announce that we will host a 2020 ANU Flute Day. We will enjoy a welcome break from online lessons and come together in a screen free but COVID-safe way. The day will feature esteemed Canberra flautists/teachers: Jennifer Brian, Beth Hwang, Kate Murphy, Sarah Nielsen, Jodie Petrov, Teresa Rabe, Jane Rayner, Kiri Sollis, Sally Walker and Emma Warburton.
