ANU-NTU HDR Workshop 2022 Indigenous Heritage: Past, Present and Future

ANU-NTU HDR Workshop 2022 Indigenous Heritage: Past, Present and Future

With young scholars from the Australian National University and the National Taiwan University, this HDR Workshop examines the concepts and practices of indigenous heritage, its various meanings, interpretations and uses in the Asia and Pacific.

The workshop serves as a platform to facilitate interdisciplinary research and cross-cultural dialogues between young scholars from two institutions.

The topics include community engagement, land rights, gender politics, and digital heritage. We hope this platform can also contribute to indigenous leadership training, especially for those young indigenous scholars in the workshop.

Organizers:

Yujie Zhu, Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies, Australian National University, Australia

Shumei Huang, Graduate Institute of Building and Planning, National Taiwan University, Taiwan
