The Australian Linguistic Society (ALS) is the national organisation for linguists and linguistics in Australia. Its primary goal is to further interest in and support for linguistics research and teaching in Australia. The annual conference of the Australian Linguistic Society will be held at the Australian National University on 26-29 November 2024.

ALS 2024 will feature plenary talks bt David Britain, Virginia Yip and Dr Caroline Hughes AM.
