Indigenous Knowledge of Land - Sharing Heritage, Exchanging Stories

Indigenous Knowledge of Land - Sharing Heritage, Exchanging Stories

Join the conversation with Dr Aunty Anne Martin AM and Professor Bill Gammage

Have you ever wondered why Acknowledging the Country is essential? How does understanding Indigenous knowledge of the land go beyond our perceptions of culture and nature when we visit a place and connect with people? This workshop aims to deepen our comprehension of Indigenous knowledge of land, which is especially beneficial for students exploring, travelling, and visiting the Country. It emphasises that acknowledgement is not merely a formality but a meaningful act of sharing heritage and exchanging stories.

If weather permits, the workshop will also include a walking tour to Old Canberra House.
