Applications close 17 November 2022.

Jacks & Punties workshops introduce Canberra-based artists to new and experimental techniques in glass. This workshop is intended for artists with no prior experience in glass to add glass to their practice.

Led by Dr Jeffrey Sarmiento, these workshops will encourage experimentation and explore unique techniques developed by our world-class glass artists at the ANU School of Art & Design, including both digital and analogue techniques.

Applicants will need to submit a portfolio of 3 images representing their practice (they do not have to be glass!), and a brief statement explaining how they intend to integrate glass into their practice.

These full day workshops are open to all ACT-based artists, and Ngunnawal artists wherever they are based. Each workshop will offer different content, so you can attend either or both workshops.

This program is supported by artsACT.
