Instrument | One Antarctic Night


A virtual reality experience where multiple players floating between the Earth and the Large Magellanic Cloud play a star field of over 817,373 astronomical objects as a musical instrument to create an infinite soundscape. Created by an art + science collaboration of interactive artists, composers and astrophysicists. 

Project lead by Professor Ruth West (University of North Texas).
