Second International Workshop on String Figure-Making Practices

Organised in collaboration with the ETKnoS Project: Encoding and Transmitting Knowledge with a String, University of Paris, Diderot

A workshop bringing together researchers from diverse discipline areas: anthropology, linguistics, visual arts, education, ethnomathematics, AI and integrated computer systems, play studies.

Day 1: Focus on Papua New Guinea

Day 2: Storytelling and Narrative

Day 3: Mathematical ‘likenesses’ and Other Potentials
