Online Lecture Series ‘Understanding World Heritage Interpretation and Presentation’

Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies associate member Emeritus Professor William Logan and centre staff Dr Yujie Zhu have been invited to give online lectures on ‘Understanding World Heritage Interpretation and Presentation.’ The lecture series is organised by 'The Preparatory Office for the International Centre for the Interpretation and Presentation of the World Heritage Sites under the auspices of UNESCO.' The lectures will be made available to the public via the WHIPC Preparatory Office’s YouTube channel and the Facebook page.

Emeritus Professor Logan held the UNESCO Chair in Heritage and Urbanism at Deakin University, Melbourne. He is a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and was formerly a member of the Heritage Council of Victoria and president of Australia ICOMOS. He has undertaken numerous UNESCO and ICOMOS missions to World Heritage sites in Bangladesh, China, Laos, Pakistan and Vietnam and has written many World Heritage State of Conservation reports and technical reviews.
