SoAA Collections Website, launched February 2022

Friday 18 February 2022

Today the School of Archaeology and Anthropology is excited to launch the SoAA Collections Website which showcases some of the unique and wonderful objects held in the school's collections.

Featuring vignettes written by staff, students and collaborators of the school, you can read about the collection objects, the tactile nature of our study, and the stories of the people and places involved in their original collection.

Explore how the School of Archaeology and Anthropology's collections fit into current research and how collections can be examined using new techniques.

This is an ongoing project, with objects continuing to be added to the website.

This initiative was supported by the SoAA Research Strategic Themes Funding Scheme in 2020. A huge thanks goes out to all collaborators and contributors who made this possible.

Please take a look and learn more about our collections below.
