College students in the textiles workshop with Estelle Briedis Spelman, Technical Officer in the School of Art & Design
Monday 11 April 2022

For close to 10 years, the ANU School of Art & Design has been offering College level students a unique opportunity to experience life in a world-class art & design school and learn new skills from celebrated artists, teachers and academics. SOAD College is 3-day program and includes up to 10 classes from a variety of discipline areas including glass, ceramics, art theory, life drawing, photography, print media, painting, textiles, and design.

This year, the School hosted 30 students from Colleges around ACT and surrounds, including from Canberra College, Dickson College, Erindale College, Gungahlin College, Hawker College, Lake Tuggeranong College, Melba Copland College, Narrabundah College and UC Lake Ginninderra College.

The program allows students to consider their future potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
