Dr Sally Walker performing in the Australian Chamber Orchestra's August tour
Tuesday 2 August 2022

Over ten years in the making, join Richard Tognetti as he directs the Australian Chamber Orchestra live on stage alongside striking imagery and footage captured across the globe in the centrepiece of their 2022 Season, The Crowd & I. From the banks of the Ganges to the mosh pits of Coachella; sprawling refugee camps to ever-expanding metropolises, humanity moves in swarms across the globe in ever vaster numbers, to celebrate, worship, protest, destroy and build anew.

The Crowd & I will be led by Richard Tognetti, featuring guest performers, including trumpeter Phil Slater, flautist Sally Walker, clarinettist David Griffiths, bassoonist Ben Hoadley, trombonist Nigel Crocker, percussionists Rebecca Lagos and Joshua Hill, pianist Konstantin Shamray, Charlie Westhoff on electronics, and singers from The Song Company.

The Crowd & I is touring to Canberra (6 Aug), Melbourne (7-8 Aug), Sydney (9-14 Aug) and Brisbane (15 Aug).
