This August, the ANU School of Music and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra welcome Violist Tahlia Petrosian for a Canberra musical residency. Tahlia enjoys a multi-faceted career as a soloist, chamber musician, director of KLASSIK underground, creative producer and member of the world-famous Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig. One of the foremost innovators who is transforming classical music in the 21st century, Tahlia is much sought after as a consultant and creative producer for leading orchestras, arts organisations and artists for new concert formats and special projects in Europe, Norway and Australia.

Please join us for her Canberra residency, which includes a chamber concert with ANU staff and students, a string workshop and masterclass, a workshop for the CSO Kingsland Fellows, the ANU Viola Day and pre-concert talks for the CSO Llewellyn series.

RESIDENCY SCHEDULE

Wednesday 16 August, 6:30-7pm - Tahlia presents CSO pre-concert talk

Friday 18 August, 10am-1pm - String Workshop for ANU School of Music students
