ASCS 46 (2025): Australasian Society for Classical Studies (ASCS) Annual Conference

The conference will take place at the Australian National University, on the unceded lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge First Nations’ struggles for Sovereignty and Country.

The 46th annual meeting and conference of the Australasian Society for Classical Studies (ASCS).

There will be an afternoon of HDR activities on Sunday 2 February followed by the Welcome Reception for all delegates that evening. The conference proper will begin at 9am Monday 3 February and finish by 4pm on Wednesday 5 February. Prof. James Ker (UPenn) and A/Prof. Caitie Barrett (Cornell) keynotes will be on Monday 3 February, followed by a reception and the conference dinner; Emeritus Prof. Denis Feeney (Princeton) will give a keynote on Tuesday 4 February, followed by a reception.

Early bird tickets will be available until the 20 December 2024; after that all registrations (including the Conference Dinner) close on 20 January 2025. 

Society membership is a requirement for attendance at ASCS conferences. Please sign up or update your membership here
